Please note, Quetzaltrekkers uses local, public transport and purchases trek food from local markets and shops whenever possible.

What to bring
For multi-day hikes, you will need the following:
Hiking boots or good walking shoes
Big backpack (60+ liters)
Warm and dry clothes for overnight hikes
Rain gear (only in rainy season)
Sunscreen and hat
Flashlight or headlamp
Depending on the hike, we may recommend bringing along additional supplies. Please check out each hike’s description or speak to a Quetzaltrekkers guide beforehand.
If you don't have the required equipment, Quetzaltrekkers has a stockroom of equipment which you can borrow from.
